Sorry for the delay. [May. 31st, 2004|11:03 pm]
Hello.

While i had the wonderful luck of getting the system to work, I wasnt as fourtunate with the archives. They were pretty messed up. some of the data i had to re-imput manually. In short, recovery sucked to high hell and back.

But I did get it.

Heres the first transmission:

The vampire smiled. “I have immense faith in you, Crim. Now, for the payment.”
Jonathan’s hand appeared out of nowhere; that black cloak makes it seem like it’s floating, and in his hand was a medium-sized white envelope. It slid across to me. I opened it, counted the money inside, closed it and put it in my jacket. Inside the envelope was ten thousand dollars. The usual fee for my paranormal investigations is: ten thousand up front, whatever I want at the end. You’d be amazed at some of the lovely things I’ve gotten. Like my car… oh, I love my car.
I stood up, leaned in close to Jonathon and said, “I’ll do what I can. I’ll be in touch. Let the Queen know I’ll be over to talk to her sometime tomorrow night.”
Jonathan nodded.
“Other than that, you can contact me in the usual manner.”
He nodded, again. “Good luck, Crim.”
“Thank you.”
I started to walk out. I wanted to walk past anyone I could as I was leaving the club, and hope that they’d wish me luck, too. Because I wanted all the luck that anyone was going to give me right now.

As I left the club, an overwhelming sense of dread momentarily clouded my mind. Looking at the grand scale of what I was being asked to do made me twitch. But then, there have been a number of jobs that made me twitch, and I’ve always come out on top. This one’s important. I can’t screw it up. No pressure.

They say it's my birthday. [May. 14th, 2004|09:39 pm]
It appears that fate has decided to give me a present. This damn thins is working. Over the years, I have been a willing test rabbit for Dawson products, and this one is by far the hardest to deal with. It is, to be fair a new direction with them. they do weapons, not telecommunications and data storage.
Im working on getting the old files up and runnig, but it's time for me to go on patrol.

So, would ya gimmie a present?

I have pictures of you in my head, but all i get here are lines of decoded type. How bout you tell me a little about you guys, and ask me any questions you have. Tomorrow, when i get home, I'll work out the files, and get something uploaded.

Ok, i gotta go.

Greetings and Apologies [May. 12th, 2004|02:10 pm]
Hello all.

I wish i could blame my lack of data transmission to the failings of Dawson products or an overly active assignment. But the truth is, I got lonely. I missed hearing from you. Yea, I know, I didnt know you were there before. but once I did, I was hooked on the connection. Call it a weakness. It made my day sometimes. Being alone in the city, waiting for a faerie to come and spill their guts about a problem can be made lighter by checking and seeing that someone cares, even when they barely know you. So when the machine broke again, I let the sadness of silence keep me from immediate repair.

Well, after a particularly hard day, I came home and in sublime fustration, kicked the hell out of the prototype. It immediatly whirred to life and told me I had mail. Yay for applied mechanics. I read a reply that stated simply, "you're missed". Moments later, it sputtered dead again. I felt like the slimey underside of a snail. Folks *did* care, and I was here being depresseed. That couldnt be allowed.

So this is after 3 nights of kicking and fixing this thing. I'm transmitting now, before it's totally fixed, because I wanted you to know that I'm here, and I'm sorry. I'll get this thing up and running, hell or high water. Then, I'll get the archives reloaded.

Thank you for being around. ill talk to you soon.

ill answer a few if i can.

Testing, testing.... [Aug. 19th, 2002|03:48 pm]
hello? does this thing work? looks like it. well hi there, whoever has the codes to recieve this. this is a journal program connected to a unit in my ear which picks up on my thoughts and trasfers them to a treminal hidden somewhere. some folks have the codes, like you...some of you dont even know what you've found. but it's the story of my life.

what you will read is weird and strnge, but it's what i go through every night. it's my job, my life , and my calling. sucks to be me huh?

well, im geared up and on the way out. ill send somemore later.
